Sprint picking up spectrum, customers in Midwest from US Cellular

Sprint this morning announced that it will acquire from US Cellular 20 MHz of spectrum in the 1900 MHz band in Midwest markets including Chicago, South Bend, Ind., and Champaign, Ill. It'll also get 10 MHz of spectrum in St. Louis. The moves, which are costing Sprint $480 million, will affect some 585,000 USCC customers
