We are able to all become leaders and also supporters. Both are very important but the leader sets the nice example for his/her fans. A good leader has a good follower.

In order to be considered a good chief, one must possess different features which will attract readers. The following qualities are only of few of the many qualities that are crucial for successful leadership:

1. Charisma- charismatic leaders have the present to the touch people through their choice of words. Charismatic leaders are alluring, wonderful and could encourage followers to guide a grand vision or idea.

2. Positive Attitude ? A leader who has a positive attitude can influence his/her readers to transport that same attitude. A good example of a leader with a confident attitude might be a parent or teacher.

Parents, fathers, or elementary teachers look and are viewed as role models to the young kids they are patient and teaching.

These role models would be the first leaders they experience in life. Since they?re their vehicles to the outside world and provide assistance and much needed help young ones become very dependent of leaders.

In case a parent is nurturing and loving with their daughter or son, they will flourish under this encouragement.

They?ll succeed, if a positive learning experience is provided by a school teacher to the kid and that success will become contagious? In just about any circumstance, a leaders positive attitude could have greater effect and influence on the supporters.

3. Determination ? Within an running world, a stimulating leader is actually a coach, coach or even a fellow teammate. Their coach is also an important factor, whilst the skill of people is a great determinant of a winning team.

If a coach can?t produce a successful team, his work are at risk. A coachs inspiration requires infusing his people with high standards, and setting challenging but attainable goals because they perform well. Thus, his/her capability to inspire his people may enhance their activities.

Determination also correlates with having a confident attitude. Each time a coach features a positive attitude and supplies a positive atmosphere for his players, then a staff will most likely be determined to go in his/her path where ultimate success are available.

4. Assertiveness ? A leader gets the duty to steer the course of his or her company. Whenever a leader is assertive and firm in delegating tasks to his subordinates, a greater respect will be held by them to check out through on the projects.

An assertive head gets the capability to share administration without being too autocratic or threatening with their subordinates.

More over, an assertive leader should not make his subordinates feel like theyre in a hostile environment. As an alternative, an assertive leader must respect his people, and need proper obligation at the same time. A leaders assertiveness and confidence gets respect. With that value, people are a great deal more likely to follow, help, and imitate their leader to have success.

Visualized: Space hurricane! NASA's Cassini records super cyclone on Saturn (video)

If the crashing sound of lightning striking Saturn wasn't enough to excite your inner-meteorologist, then perhaps footage of a raging extraterrestrial hurricane will win you over. After orbiting the ringed planet for nine years, NASA's Cassini probe has managed to snag video of a super storm on the celestial body's north pole. Cloaked by the darkness of winter, the hurricane's eye became visible as Saturn's northern hemisphere transitioned into spring. Unlike the tropical cyclones of Earth (see: Hurricane Katrina, Sandy and Irene), this furious typhoon has been spinning for several years and has winds that flow at speeds exceeding 300MPH. Further differentiating itself from our world's whirlwinds, this alien cyclone is locked to its planet's north pole and is fueled by small amounts of water vapor instead of an actual ocean. Completely in a category of its own, the hurricane's eye measures about 1,250 miles wide and is surrounded by fluffy white clouds the size of Texas. How often do you play with your dog? Be honest, now ? in our modern age of gadgets and gizmos aplenty, whosits and whatsits galore, who really has the time or patience to teach a dog the finer points of fetch, or even drag it unwillingly around a noisy city block as if it was a debtor being taken to Jabba the Hutt to discuss the small matter of repaying a loan? You?re busy, and though you?d love to spend your free time fawning over your dog, it?s just not practical. There aren?t enough hours in the day, which means that every night, your poor, neglected canine companion slips into a restive sleep, unplayed with and, for all it knows, unloved. With no practical reason to keep itself trim, your dog starts putting on weight until one fine day you realize your dog is fat and it totally grosses you out. ?Ugh,? you think squeezing your dog?s neck rolls, ?fat dogs are so gross.?

Ah, but there?s always a quick solution for a complicated modern problem, and that solution might be, in this case, to get your sad, attention-starved dog a temporary tattoo. The idea of tattooing a dog at first seems risible, if not openly cruel. Dogs don?t need to have their skin stained with ugly roses or barbed-wire armbands ? they?re dogs. Most of them don?t even realize they have tails. That?s when it hits you ? ?Hey, if a dog doesn?t know what a tattoo is and the tattoo doesn?t hurt the dog, then why not tattoo my dog??

For starters, it can seem like the sort of superfluous, money-burning activity that only well-heeled pet owners living on, say, the Upper East Side in Manhattan might engage in. Rich people can get pretty weird about their pets, and temporary dog tattoos seem to be the ultimate mark of pet-fawning decadence, especially with endorsements like this:

And the key player turning on tail waggers' masters to the idea is Jorge Bendersky, a celebrity dog groomer whose clientele hails mainly from the Upper East Side. The tattoos are especially popular among owners of short-haired dogs, he explained.

"In the summer, they cut the dogs' hair short, so you've got to supplement the glamour," he said. "Having no hair is no excuse not to be glamorous."

Cue the eye rolls and dismissive snorts. Such custom dye jobs can cost about $100, and although that $100 could probably be used to better effect to help feed starving pets, consider celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky?s argument-ending rationalization for temporarily-tattooing one?s dog:

Dogs are like humans, and when they accessorize they get attention. A pink dog does not know it's pink, but when people are smiling and taking pictures, it gets attention. So, a dog likes to get tattoos.

Hey, that sort of makes sense. In an ideal world where no one has to work because we all have our own goats for making milk, cheese, and other foodstuffs (prive goat ownership presents its own sets of difficulties, but I digress) and the economy is really just a polite barter system, you?d obviously get to play with and fawn over your dog all the time. That, however, is probably just a fantasy for your overworked, exhausted, real-life self. Maybe it?d be better to maximize the attention your dog gets during walks by stamping a temporary tattoo on its back so it can get all the belly scratches and head-pats that otherwise apathetic strangers are willing to give out. After your dog has thus feasted on the attention of strangers, you can watch GoT guilt-free and your dog will never suspect that you?re fantasizing about getting a box of direwolf puppies for your birthday.

Herbalife says results will prove Ackman wrong

(Reuters) - Herbalife Ltd posted surprisingly strong quarterly earnings and raised its full-year profit forecast on Monday, putting pressure on high-profile investor Bill Ackman, who is betting against the nutritional products company.

Ackman's Pershing Square Capital has a $1 billion bet against the "multi-level marketer" whose weight loss products are sold through a network of independent individuals. In recent months Ackman has called the Los Angeles-based company "a pyramid scheme" and predicted that its shares will eventually be worthless.

Herbalife executives, who have been befriended by hedge fund titan Carl Icahn, told Reuters that the company's global growth speaks for itself.

"The proof is in the results. Ultimately people will realize that Bill Ackman's reckless bet is based on an unfounded hypothesis," Herbalife President Des Walsh told Reuters in an interview.

"The resilience of our customer base and our distributor base will continue to show that he's wrong and dead wrong," Walsh said.

Herbalife's first quarter net income grew to $118.9 million, or $1.10 per share, in the first quarter, compared with $108.2 million, or 88 cents per share, a year earlier.

Excluding a hit from the devaluation of Venezuela's currency and expenses related to defending the company from criticism by Ackman and other high-profile investors, the company earned $1.27 a share during the quarter - 20 cents more than the average of analysts' estimates compiled by Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

Net sales rose 17 percent to $1.1 billion.

Based on those results, Herbalife raised its 2013 forecast for adjusted earnings per share to a range of $4.60 to $4.80 from $4.45 to $4.65 previously.

Herbalife shares, which have been volatile due to the debate over its future, slipped 0.9 percent to $38.42 in extended trading. The shares plummeted from about $45 to about $25 at the time of Ackman's attack in December.

Icahn, another closely watched investor, rushed to the firm's defense - taking a stake and putting two representatives on the Herbalife board in February.

But the company also disclosed in February that its operations have been the subject of an inquiry by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement since late last year.

It was later discovered that a senior KPMG auditor for Herbalife was leaking nonpublic information about the company in exchange for money, forcing the firm to resign from Herbalife's service.
